As the proud principal of Sylvan Rodriguez Elementary School, I am honored to serve you and your family in the beautiful Gulfton community. Located in one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse neighborhoods in Houston, our mission at Rodriguez is to provide EVERY child with an excellent education in their lifelong journey as global leaders! As we celebrate 24 years of excellence at SRE in 2025-2026, we are celebrating a milestone of excellence in our ode to the original Space Ranger - Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Lightyear was a pivotal character in Toy Story, a movie that changed the game in film and animation. Living into our Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger identity, Rodriguez ES is changing the game in education! Let's make this school year the best one yet!
